Every monster has a backstory

And I just know you want to hear mine….

So grab a blankie, light some candles, and pour yourself a drink.   Ready?

But first, a toast to friends and friendship and things that go bump in the night!  Cheers!

A fine young woman named Georgette lived a pink and peaceful life of quiet solitude.  One midnight clear the Angel Gabriel appeared to her in a dream.  And he said unto her, fear not Georgette, for you shall create a small monster and his colour will be blue, and it will be good.  And this monster will be beloved by mankind.

And in the morning, Georgette awoke and went right to her fabric stash. There she found the softest, bluest fabric to craft a perfect little monster with.  With a twinkle in her eye she added a saucy tail and and a red raspberry tongue.   Some stitches, a few buttons and a pot of tea later….

Georgette saw all that she had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was morning and there was afternoon all gone.  So on the seventh hour she was able to rest from all her work before wrapping up the little monster for delivery.

Then she ate an apple, and the rest is history.

Edgar and Georgette

Edgar and Georgette

Edgar eagerly sitting on the table propped up by a glass of red wine and a glass of Guiness beer.

My inaugural dinner! Living it up with friends and trying to decide whether to drink the Guiness or the wine first. Ahhhh, decisions…… such difficult decisions!

I’m Edgar. Who are you?

Getting ready!

Check out my ‘About’ page while I finish putting this blog together.  Perfection takes time!

You can find that ‘About’ page by clicking on the link under those pretty orange circles on the left side.  Those little words that say “I’m Edgar”, that’s the link.  Yes, that’s me!
